WonderWorld Group are delighted to work alongside Perth Autism Support (PAS), a partnership that will encourage and inspire autistic children and young people to reach their full potential.
Wonder World Group will be opening their two venues in Perth; WonderWorld Softplay and AirThrill Inflatable Park to Perth Autism Support and the families supported by PAS on an extended basis, including dedicated session discounts and four PAS Day Outs a year where they get exclusive hires of both venues.
This will enable the families and friends of autistic children to come and play in a safe, calm and relaxed environment, providing children the opportunity to come and play that may not be achievable to them on a regular basis.
PAS will be providing Wonder World Group training opportunities that ensure our employees fully understand autism and that as a group we can better work with autistic children and young people when they visit one of our venues. They will also be providing ‘calm bags’ to our Perth venues that contain ear defenders and sensory toys to offer support to children and young people.
WonderWorld Groups Head of Marketing commented, “This is an exciting opportunity for us as a group to learn about autism and the different elements of this. As a children’s entertainment provider, we strive to be inclusive of everyone in the safest environment possible, the education we will gain from Perth Autism Support will not only grow our employee’s knowledge, but it will also provide us with insight into how we can upgrade our venues that drives further inclusivity for everyone to come and enjoy”.
CEO of Perth Autism Support, Angie Ferguson, “We are thrilled to partner with WonderWorld Group to bring inclusive and supportive play environments to autistic children, young people and their families in Perth and Kinross. This collaboration not only provides unique play opportunities but also fosters greater understanding of autism within the community. We look forward to working together to make a positive impact.”
A two-way partnership with the same goal of “inclusivity for all”.
